The materials can work in a variety of scenarios, but you should choose among them according to the jobs you do, the weight of the objects you work with, and the speed at which the scaffolding components must go up and down.
Aluminum scaffolds are lightweight and quickly erected, but if your workers will be keeping heavy materials on them, the weight could make the entire system unstable. In such a case, steel could be preferred.
Fiberglass scaffolds could be critical if your workers will be handling electrical wiring or other materials that could be a fire risk. Fiberglass, unlike metal, isn't good at conducting electricity, and in those instances, could be far safer.
Preparing the Site
Much attention is rightly given to scaffold setups and training, but your thoughts should also be on preparing the work property for scaffolding setups. This means that you'll need to evaluate bushes, trees, and other things that could make it hard to erect individual scaffolds or work on them. In the days before you set up equipment and scaffolding, you might need to uproot bushes or contact utility companies about any lines overhead.
